Do you provide the children’s meals? The Nursery staff at the children's centre hold food hygiene certificates and are therefore able to provide breakfast and a light meal at tea time for the children.At lunchtime Walsall School Meals service provide the centre with a hot meal and dessert.

How can I prepare my child for starting nursery? The nursery holds settling in sessions for each new child. These sessions usually last for a few hours depending on how your child settles. You are welcome to stay with your child during these sessions. Before your child starts nursery you will be asked to attend an induction where you will be asked what sort of daily routine your child is used to, their likes and dislikes and whether they use comforters (blankets/soothers).

How do I know what my child has done throughout the day? Each child has a daily diary and these are filled in by your childs keyworker and handed to you each day. The diary includes details of what your child has eaten that day, nappy changes and activites they have taken part in.At the end of each day you will recieve feedback personal to your child from your childs keyworker.

How much are your nursery fees, and how do we pay? A full listing of fees for nursery sessions can be found on our 'Fees and Funding' pages. You can pay for your nursery sessions weekly or monthly and by cash, cheque or standing order. The nursery also accepts childcare vouchers.

What are your times of opening? The children's centre is open from 8:00am till 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Nursery sessions vary but can start from 8:00am through till 6:00pm.

What do I need to provide? We do ask that you provide us with certain items. These are:- Nappies & Wipes
- Comforters/Bottles
- Sun Cream
- Toothbrush/toothpaste
- Cap (warm weather)
- Hat (cold weather)
- Coat/Jacket
- Wellies

When does the nursery close? The Nursery closes at 6:00pm, children must be collected by 6:00pm.

Will my child have a keyworker? Yes, every child has a keyworker. We usually wait a couple of weeks to allocate keyworkers to see which member of staff your child is most comfortable with.
